Senior Risk and Compliance Solicitor

Legal 500 firm looking to appoint an experienced Risk, Quality & Compliance Solicitor to be based in their Reading office.

The role:

You will be responsible for managing risk and compliance on a day-to-day basis across the firm and act as a key point of contact for all staff members and all legal and administrative functions.

The duties will include but not be limited to practicing certificate renewals, accreditation management, data protection, anti-money laundering, management of financial systems and IT security.

You will work closely with the firm's managers to maintain, improve and implement compliance procedures and provide training to create awareness and engagement across the board.

It is essential that you have up-to-date knowledge of risk and compliance requirements and have a proven track record in a law firm or in-house legal team.

Requirements:
·Understands requirements of SRA, FCA, GDRD, POCA and BSI/Lexcel
·Highly personable and proven ability to influence others in a positive way
·Excellent communication and client service skills
