Grahame brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to his role as a legal Recruitment Consultant specialising in the French and German markets. Having grown up in Paris, Grahame is fluent in French and deeply connected to the region’s culture and professional landscape.

Grahame’s career began with an impressive academic foundation, earning a BA (Hons) in Law and History in 1999 and an LLM in Public and Private International Law from Oxford Brookes University in 2000. He went on to work with two leading US law firms in project finance before serving as in-house legal counsel for EZZ Steel in Cairo, Egypt.

 In 2011, Grahame transitioned into recruitment, focusing on senior associate and partner hires in London. In his previous role Grahame expanded his expertise to Paris and Frankfurt, earning a reputation as one of the top recruiters in these markets. Now at JMC Legal, Grahame primarily concentrates on partner and team recruitment, continuing to provide exceptional service to US, UK, and French law firms across Europe.

Outside of work, Grahame enjoys a rich personal life. Married with one child and a cat named Louie, he is passionate about history, having authored two books on 20th-century conflicts. He also loves cooking, playing music, and immersing himself in creative pursuits.
