Joe joined JMC Legal in 2018 and he is now the Development Director of our growing Manchester City Centre office. Joe studied BSc International Relations at the University of Southampton and joined JMC Legal immediately upon graduation. He joined without any prior recruitment or sales experience, although quickly progressed through the company and has since managed teams of many spanning the South-East, M4 Corridor & the South West. Having worked as a consultant covering the South-East market for several years (Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex and Kent), he now heads up operations in Manchester, spearheading the growth of the office. Currently, Joe invests his time into training and supervising experienced recruiters to achieve higher billings and also guides inexperienced graduates to confidently make their first steps into recruitment. 

During his time as a consultant, Joe worked with a variety of law firms and is well-connected across the South of England. Having worked with International Top 30 firms to smaller regional high street practices, he has a broad and in-depth knowledge of the legal market. He has also partnered with companies looking to recruit and grow in-house legal teams across a range of sectors including heavyweight vehicle marketplace companies, national financial advisors & international telecoms businesses. 

Outside of work, Joe is a big sports fan and despite having some of the world’s best teams on his doorstep in Manchester, he continues to follow the trials and tribulations of Bristol Rovers FC. He also plays golf but refuses to disclose his handicap.
