Associate - Corporate

This 2-6 PQE Corporate M&A opportunity will see you join an international Top 50 law firm, primarily involved in energy, transport and infrastructure sectors. They've worked on the largest and highest profile corporate deals in these sectors, such as a number of multi-award winning energy deals.

This role will allow you to remain broad in your work, but provide the opportunity to gain sector specialist knowledge if you desire, as you progress.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for a Corporate Associate with 2-6 PQE to join this Top 40 International Law Firm in the City of London.

The team is looking for someone 2-6 PQE to working alongside the Head of the London Corporate and M&A Group and the wider team.

There is a real range of work on offer immediately and there is scope for Associates to develop sector focused knowledge as you become more senior.

The full range the team handles includes domestic and international M&A, including some in emerging markets, corporate finance and securities transactions, PE and VC transactions, strategic alliances and projects as well as providing general corporate advice and advising on commercial agreements

The team is really supportive of Associates business development activities and they also provide secondment opportunities to clients if desired.

The Ideal Candidate:

• You will have 2-6 PQE
  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales or other common law jurisdiction.
  • experience should have been gained working in the corporate department of a City, international, or leading regional law firm.
• You will have good organisational skills.
• You will have enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
