The Role:
This is a stand out opportunity for a Future Energy Associate with 1-2 years PQE to join this top 50 Law firm in London.
The team act for a broad range of clients in the sector, including developers, institutional investors, banks, non-bank lenders and the public sector, covering both established technologies such as solar, wind and hydro to newer technologies such as battery storage, heat pumps, electric vehicles, hydrogen and CCUS.
Within this role you will work on;
- Providing commercial energy contracts and energy regulatory support to Partners and Legal Directors on future energy transactions and deal execution across a broad range of practice areas, including finance, regulatory, commercial contracts, construction, real estate and corporate.
- Managing your own transactions for a variety of clients in the Future Energy sector, including generators, off takers and suppliers, innovative market access providers, commercial energy customers, developers, investors and funders.
- Providing specialist commercial energy and energy regulatory support to senior team members on M&A and financing transactions (for example on due diligence and SPA warranties).
The Ideal Candidate:
- You will be a qualified solicitor with 1-2 years PQE
- You will have good organisational skills.
- You will have enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
