The Firm:

This opportunity will give exposure to the highest quality work, you will work on your own cases as well as assisting on sizeable and noteworthy restructuring and insolvency matters. As such, this will put you ahead in your years PQE.

The Role:

Are you a junior associate looking to expand your experience for future career progression? This role can offer you that platform for career progression, due to the team being kept busy with great quality work streams and a general focus of investment from the firm into this area.

This hire will mean joining a legal 100 law firm in their restructuring and insolvency team. The role will be assisting more senior members of the team with a range of a cases, allowing access to having exposure on bigger deals, which will help with future career progression - you'll be fully supported in terms of integrating into the team and the type of work they do.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to bring familiarity and knowledge with contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring law. But most importantly, enthusiasm for the desire to learn - passion is key for this organisation and given that they are a true meritocracy, this will be valued throughout your career in this team.

The ideal candidate:

  • Restructuring and Insolvency Associate 1-5year PQE, with good training and experience
    • Ideally, you'll have been trained at a Legal 500 ranked firm, however, the firm is more focused on the individual than many other firms of this size.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for the work you do is essential.
  • A strong team player
    • this firm is collaborative and value high levels of communication and cooperation.
