An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Banking & Finance Paralegal to join a dynamic and growing law firm based in London.

The Firm:

Known for its entrepreneurial approach and commitment to excellence, this firm is seeking a skilled individual to support its highly regarded Banking & Finance team.

About the Role & Team:

This role involves working within a busy team primarily focused on lender-side finance matters, with additional exposure to borrower transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members and contribute to a wide range of complex and high-profile deals.

The firm's banking clients range from challenger banks, bridging lenders and development funders to well-known high-street banks and leading international investment banks.

Working on behalf of domestic and international lenders, borrowers and investors, they deliver straightforward advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation, review, and management of finance documentation.
  • Supporting the team on conditions precedent, completions, and post-completion matters.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting reports for fee earners.
  • Managing client communications and liaising with lenders and borrowers.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining meticulous records.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working in the banking department of a law firm (essential).
  • A strong background in lender-side finance work; experience with borrower matters is an advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude, ready to contribute to a fast-paced team.
