The role

The firm is seeking to hire a Commercial Property Partner to join their City of London office.

• This role has come about as a result of a partner leaving the practice following a career break. As such there is an active client base to take over and further develop.
• This is an exciting role which will allow you the autonomy to grow and shape the firms commercial property department. You will inherit a top quality caseload - however you will also lead the way in business development to drive new work into the department
• You will deal with a caseload that consists of representing offshore and UK investors across the full range of commercial leasehold and freehold acquisitions and disposals including corporate HQ requirements, warehouses, offices, factories, supermarkets, corporate merger, sales and acquisitions, complex site assembly, developments, financing and disposals and all related third party issues including ongoing management.
• You will work with the other partners to drive the departments forwards

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Property Solicitor with at least 6 years PQE (there is no upper limit to the amount of experience)
• You will have a track record in developing new business
• You should ideally have experience of dealing with international clients, although this isn't essential.
• Salary is negotiable depending on your background and level of experience.
