The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Competition Associate 1-4 PQE to join this Top 10 Elite US firm's City of London office.

The Antitrust & Competition team has an incredible track record of successfully representing clients in some of the most challenging competition cases before competition and regulatory authorities and courts all over the world.

The firm is recognised by Global Competition Review as a top 20 Global Elite firm, and the team provides counselling and compliance services to many of the world's largest companies and financial institutions.

The team is currently involved in complex behavioural investigations, multi-jurisdictional merger control, litigation, and other matters and works closely with contentious and non-contentious practices of the wider firm in London and worldwide.

The practice focus includes:

In this role, you'll be advising on a range of competition law issues; drafting, reviewing, and amending legal documentation; and supporting the team in developing excellent client relationships.

Requirements

  • You will be a qualified solicitor of England & Wales with 1-4 PQE in competition.
    • with a proven background in providing assistance in transactional contexts (including merger control and foreign direct investment advice).
  • Strong academics
    • A degree from a reputed institution with a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent;
