The Role
You will advise the Company on all aspects of antitrust/competition laws and regulations in various jurisdictions, including the United States, European Union, and Asia Pacific region. You will also provide training to Company business groups/organisations regarding antitrust/competition compliance. You will also collaborate closely with the Antitrust/Competition Team Leader and other corporate colleagues to offer strategic legal support for mergers/acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business initiatives.
You will coordinate with the Corporate Compliance Department, such as Investigations/Audit coordination and Subsidiary/Joint Venture coordination. You will manage external counsel and oversee the company's strategy for addressing antitrust/competition-related inquiries and legal proceedings.
It will also be your duty to update the Chief Compliance Officer on antitrust/competition compliance matters.
Requirements
- 6+ PQE in the US, Canada or Europe (Including UK)
- Trained at a Magic Circle, Silver Circle, Top 50 UK firm, or the US/EU/Canada equivalent
- Experience with multi-jurisdictional antitrust/competition regulations
- In-House experience from UK/US listed companies is preferred
