This leading top-tier law firm is seeking a talented lawyer with 3+ years' PQE to join their Construction and Projects team. The team is led by experienced partners who have a strong track record of advising on complex construction and infrastructure projects across various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, healthcare, aviation, technology and more.
The team advises clients on all aspects of construction and infrastructure projects, including procurement strategy, contract drafting, contract negotiating, and dispute resolution.

Role
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that have a direct impact on the New Zealand economy and commercial sector. For example, our client has acted on:
- A multi-billion-dollar development project, involving the construction of an airbase along with the installation of new technology for passenger handling.
- A large-scale solar energy project.
- A build development project within the healthcare sector.
You should be an outstanding lawyer who brings commercial awareness and construction law expertise, ideally having worked on development and/or energy projects and solid commercial acumen.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ PQE gained and have a keen interest in developing their career in a new legal system.
Ideal candidate
- A Corporate Solicitor with 3+ PQE
- Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients, and has the ambition and communication skills to further develop client relations
- Is commercially aware and knowledgeable about the current banking law landscape
- Has passion for the legal industry and willingness to learn in a new legal system format
