The role

This West End firm is seeking to hire a Construction Partner to join its growing and vibrant office.

You will work as part of the wider Real Estate team, and join two construction partners, with a team that sits underneath consisting of senior associates, associates and paralegals. The department deals with an interesting breadth of work and has gone from strength to strength in recent years, experiencing increased workflow as a result of partner hires into both corporate and real estate.

You will work with the partners within the department, and the wider partnership to develop strategy and lead the department forward. You will also take an active role in mentoring and developing more junior lawyers.

The firm is keen to hear from candidates from either a contentious, non-contentious, or mixed background.

The work will include, but not be limited to; negotiating building contracts, contracts, terms of engagement, terms of engagement and warranties. If you have contentious experience there is also the opportunity to deal with construction litigation.

Requirements

• You will be a Construction Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
• You will have first-class client skills
• You will be a team player
• Good business development and networking experience is essential
• Package is negotiable and competitive depending on your background
