The Construction Department offers comprehensive advice on all aspects of construction law, with a client base ranging from contractors and subcontractors to developers, funders, and private individuals. You will support projects from their inception to completion, offering a friendly and supportive environment that encourages professional growth and career development.

The Role

We seek an experienced Construction Lawyer to join an established and highly regarded team, known for excellence in transactional and dispute work across the UK.

Working alongside colleagues from top City and regional firms, you'll contribute to major projects involving high-profile clients, including those in education, healthcare, and local government.

Your focus will be on non-contentious construction matters with opportunities to support on disputes. You will advise on industry-standard contracts, create bespoke agreements, and play a key role in managing transactions. The disputes team supports clients through litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution, and you'll be encouraged to expand your expertise here as well.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years of PQE in construction law
  • Detail-oriented, commercially driven, and results-focused
  • Proven experience in business development and strong billing history
  • Skilled in managing a high-volume caseload under tight deadlines
