The role

The firm seeks to hire a Contentious Immigration Partner to join their modern West End of London office.

Immigration is a core focus for the firm, it's this very practice area that they are highly regarded for and it's the firm's bedrock. They have an excellent reputation on both the commercial and individual side. They are ranked highly in the legal 500 for their work.

The firm however is keen to grow their contentious side of the immigration firm. They currently, naturally have a lot of cross over and the firm are looking for a partner that can come in and develop this side of the practice, with the help and support of the other partners.

Work will include but not be limited to; Appeals against immigration decisions, deportation orders, judicial review applications, removal challenges, detention and bail applications, human right and asylum claims, nationality and citizenship disputes.

  • You will be at least 8 years PQE in contentious immigration work
  • You will have a strong billings track record
  • Ideally you will have experience of developing and mentoring junior members of the team, although this isn't essential
  • Salary and package is negotiable and dependent on experience.
