The role

The firm is seeking to hire a Corporate Commercial Partner to join their vibrant office based in the heart of the West End of London.

• The Corporate Commercial department consists of a Partner and an Associate. Over the next 18 months you will start a handover process with the current partner who is coming up to retirement. This is an excellent opportunity to inherit a lucrative and busy client base. This partner has a great reputation. You will take the time to get to know the clients so you can be there new point of contact moving forwards.
• You will work towards taking this department over and leading it into the future. You will be tasked with growing the department, working closely with the wider partnership. You will be well supported but will also have the autonomy in time to put your stamp on the department.
• The current caseload is a mix of both corporate and commercial work, acting across a range of sectors. The variety of the caseload will make for an interesting role. Caseload will include; Shareholders agreements, business sales and purchases, terms of business, contract drafting, joint ventures, M&A and commercial contracts.
• You should be a rain maker, ambitious and an individual who has a passion for developing, expanding and driving new business.
• You will be a Corporate Commercial Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of experience)
• Package and salary are competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience
