The Role:

This firm is seeking a Senior Court of Protection Solicitor with around 5+ years PQE, to join their Nottingham team.

Managing your own busy and varied caseload, you will be dealing with a varied caseload including; assisting injured parties, elderly clients and those with special needs to manage their property & affairs where a deputy order is in place. The team also deals with Court panel referrals, professional attorneyships and trusteeships for personal injury awards.

You will take a prominent role in the team, supporting partners on high value, complex matters and mentoring junior Solicitors.

The work will include drafting applications to the Court of Protection, assisting with the purchase and adaption of properties, bank account and budgeting reviews, meetings with clients, liaising with the Court and the Office of the Public Guardian, preparation of annual reports, billing and file management.

This department is home to a member of the Public Guardians Panel of Court-approved deputies, as well as some well-known Solicitors in the private client market.

Requirements:

• You will be a Court of Protection Solicitor with at least 5 years of relevant PQE
