The Role

The backbone of the firm is its highly renowned litigation department. You would be joining a Tier ranked department that actively wins and maintains its own prestigious clientele, as well as receiving quality referrals from the firm's corporate, commercial, property, IP and regulatory departments.

As a result, the caseload of commercial work is varied and provides an excellent platform for solicitors to develop a broad range of expertise which will help to accelerate their careers.

Clients include FTSE 100 companies, SMEs, family businesses and individuals who are rooted locally, nationally and internationally. Disputes also arise from a range of different sectors - food and drink, creative, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, energy and more - allowing for a constantly evolving, challenging and rewarding role.

You will develop through appearance work in the Court of Session and the Sherrif Court, as well as conducting mediations and arbitrations to support clients in resolving disputes.
