The Role

The firm is seeking to hire an Employment Solicitor with 2+ years PQE into their Birmingham, office.

You will work as part of a highly-ranked legal 500 team. The team is busy and has had an influx of new work, making now an exciting time to join.

You will handle all forms of employment law issues for commercial and private clients and build and develop your own caseload with a commercial emphasis.

You will be expected to be able to handle matters including but not limited to; Employment Tribunals, settlement agreements, TUPE, Covenant Disputes, data protection, amongst other elements.

Further, you will gain experience of employment contracts, service agreements, employment policies and handbooks.

From time to time you we enjoy supporting a corporate/commercial team on mergers and acquisitions, in particular pre-completion due diligence.

These specialisms would make for a very interesting and varied caseload.

This role will present an excellent level of exposure and offers great prospects for career progression.

The Candidate

• You will be an Employment Solicitor 2+ years PQE
• You will have a good technical knowledge
• Good communication skills are essential
