The Role
The firm is looking for a Employment Senior Associate / Partner to join their reputable department based in Manchester.
In this role you will be working directly alongside another partner by inheriting a caseload alongside being tasked with driving further growth of the team. As a result of the firms strong reputation in Corporate & Commercial the Employment team predominately deals with corporate clients whilst occasionally handling individual matters. They work across a variety of sectors including retail, leisure, industrial, pharmaceuticals and more.
You will be expected to deal with both contentious and non-contentious matters and the department deals with a broad range of employment matters which traditionally include; TUPE, tribunals, contentious dismissals, employment contracts, HR and more.
There is no requirement to bring a following but you must have a passion to take the bull by the horns and be a tenacious and entrepreneurial individual who can contribute to the overall growth and success of the department.
Requirements
- You must be a Employment Solicitor 5+ years PQE
- You will be comfortable over contentious and non-contentious matters
- You will want to join a ambitious team with growth plans across the north west
