Having developed a state-of-the-art, carbon-efficient product that powers the heavy industry and transport sectors, this business is leading the charge in ensuring that a net-zero future is not too far away.

The business aims to transform the heavy industry and transport sectors by providing innovative energy solutions that are both economically viable and environmentally friendly. Their approach focuses on reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy security in industries that are traditionally dependent on fossil fuels?.

They work with many of the largest and most influential stakeholders in the Energy sector to bring exciting new applications with game-changing enhancements to the market. The team work collaboratively from their office in London.

The Role

The business is seeking for a commercially focussed, highly motivated individual to join their dynamic team in London. The position is open to candidates who are qualified as lawyers in either the United Kingdom or the United States.

You will be responsible for a diverse set of tasks aimed at providing comprehensive legal support and ensuring compliance across various jurisdictions, including the UK, US, Japan, and France. This includes overseeing corporate governance, managing regulatory issues, and handling contract negotiations for joint ventures and maritime projects. The role will also involve managing litigation and employment law matters, and maintaining supplier contracts.

You will support the business's equity and other fundraising efforts, including preparing documents such as information memorandums, investment agreements and share subscription agreements - as well as engaging with financial advisers, brokers and other key advisers. You will also cover complex regulatory issues including ITAR and ECI.

Requirements

• 7-12 PQE
• In-House experience
• Extensive background in Commercial/Corporate law
• Knowledge of UK/US Commercial Law
