The role
The firm are seeking to hire an Immigration Partner; to join their growing immigration team, their office is based in the heart of the West End of London.
- The Immigration department currently consists of a team of 3, a Partner, Solicitor and a Paralegal. The Managing Partner of the firm is the partner and Head of Immigration. They deal with a mix of both business and HNW personal immigration, currently it is much more weighted on the business side.
- The firm has grown significantly in recent years with a number of partner hires. As such the Managing Partner is seeking to, in time, hand over the reigns of the department to this new hire. The firm are seeking an ambitious candidate who wants to lead and drive forward the immigration department. You will inherit a careers worth of client relationships from this partner, making this a fantastic opportunity.
- This role could prove to be a good platform for progression for a senior solicitor seeking a route to partnership, perhaps in a top-heavy team.
- You will work with the leadership to drive the department forwards; you will be actively involved in strategy and planning. Taking an active role in business development, you will also oversee, mentor and develop more junior members of the team.
- You will be an Immigration Solicitor with at least seven years PQE (no upper limit)
- Salary and package are negotiable depending on your background and experience, there is also a lucrative bonus structure that allows you to boost earnings by way of billings.
