This well-established, Legal 500 law firm are experiencing significant growth and are looking for an entrepreneurial Insolvency Lawyer to join the team as their head of department. You will have full support to grow the department and autonomy over key decisions that affect the firm's growth and direction.

The Role:
The firm is looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial Insolvency Lawyer to lead their Insolvency department in Manchester
You will be responsible for leading and directing the growth of the Insolvency Department while being supported by the firm in marketing and networking. You will be starting in a warm position and can leverage their existing client base and cross referrals from their strong departments as a full-service firm.
You will act on behalf of receivers, liquidators, insolvency practitioners and trustees in bankruptcy across a full range of litigious insolvency-related matters, with a particular emphasis on advising and assisting insolvency practitioners in pursuing claims to recover assets in order to maximise the realisation of assets for creditors.
The role comes with excellent prospects for progression, with clear Equity Partnership prospects and the opportunity to develop and grow a team.
Requirements:
- You will be an Insolvency Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to experience)
- A transferable client base or contacts is highly advantageous
- Comfortable developing business and generating work
- Previous experience in leading a team is desirable
