The Role
You will provide legal advice across all areas of the business, addressing a wide range of commercial and regulatory issues. This involves not only understanding current laws and regulations but also anticipating potential changes and their impact on business operations.
You will contribute to developing and maintaining the Firm's compliance strategy, structure, and processes. This includes ensuring that their compliance systems and frameworks are both robust and practical, allowing them to meet regulatory requirements without hindering operational efficiency. You will also assist with data protection compliance, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), formulate policies and approaches related to data protection, including direct marketing strategies, and managing responses to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
Furthermore, you will support the Office of General Counsel team by assisting with client questionnaires and contracts. This involves reviewing and responding to inquiries from clients about our compliance and legal practices, ensuring that their responses are accurate and comprehensive.
Requirements
- 2+ PQE in commercial law
- An understanding of Risk & Compliance frameworks
