They have a growing number of franchise hotels across most key Cities in the UK; just recently, construction was completed on their new London-based hotel. This construction was extraordinarily innovative and now stands as one of London's most premium hotels.

The Role

You will work within a collaborative legal team of 3 on a mixture of Investment and development work in operational real estate. Reporting into the Legal Director and liaising with various teams across the business on a range of contracts, transactions, property, construction and litigation work, you will add great value to this high-performing legal team.

You will tackle the full life-cycle of Real Estate work, from pre-design stage to acquisition, technical design and funding, tax and construction, property management and disposals. You will also assist in giving transactional support, supporting a wide range of real estate transactions from corporate real estate acquisitions and disposals to asset-led acquisitions, assisting with senior debt facilities, forward funding arrangements and the negotiation of occupational agreements such as agreement for leases.

You will also be assisting, as required, with the appraisal of new assets, including supporting the acquisitions team with underwriting legal costs and performing due diligence on assets before instructing external counsel.

Requirements:

• You need to be a qualified Solicitor 5+ PQE with experience in commercial property, real estate finance, investment, development or projects/construction
• In-House experience and exposure to multiple real estate asset classes is preferred
• A positive attitude and outlook are essential
