The role

The firm are seeking to hire a Media and Entertainment Partner; to join their growing corporate commercial team, their office is based in the heart of the West End of London.

• The Media and Entertainment department is still fairly new being 3 years old. It was launched off the back of the firms highly successful corporate commercial team. Since it's inception there has been the hire an additional partner who joined the firm, impressed by the leaderships vision for a buoyant media and entertainment practice, bringing the total headcount to 3.
• The department is currently busy as a result of a number of new instructions, the firm have an impressive vision to solidly establish themselves as a contender firm in the sector, making now an exciting time to join the team.
• The team are entrepreneurial and ambitious, you will find there to be a high energy between the team to drive the department forwards.
• They currently deal with a broad palette of work acting for; talent agencies, actors, theatre companies, TV production companies, celebrities, music artists, artists and galleries and influencers.
• Work includes; contracts for content creation, supply and distribution agreements, sponsorship agreements, endorsements, licensing, collaboration agreements, influencer arrangements and agreements, publishing agreements and reputation management.
• You will work with the leadership to drive the department forwards; you will be actively involved in strategy and planning. Taking an active role in business development, you will also oversee, mentor and develop more junior members of the team.
• This role could prove to be a good platform for progression for a senior solicitor seeking a route to partnership, perhaps in a top-heavy team.
• You will be a Media and Entertainment Solicitor with at least seven years PQE (no upper limit)
• Salary and package are negotiable depending on your background and experience, there is also a lucrative bonus structure that allows you to boost earnings by way of billings.
