Responsibilities:

  • Handle a caseload of medical negligence claims from inception to resolution, ensuring effective management and timely progression.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential medical negligence cases, gathering evidence, and evaluating legal merits.
  • Assess and analyse medical records, expert reports, and other relevant documents to determine the viability of claims.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining complex legal concepts clearly and understandably.
  • Collaborate with medical experts, advocates and other professionals to strengthen case arguments and build a compelling case strategy.
  • Stay updated with changes in medical negligence law, regulations, and legal precedents to ensure compliance and maintain a high level of legal expertise.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor (2-5 PQE) with experience in medical negligence law or personal injury work
  • High EQ and strong ability to empathise with clients and provide sensitive support throughout the legal process.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate complex medical and legal information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding client service and maintaining the highest professional standards.
