The role:
Are you a dedicated Planning Associate/Senior 3+ years PQE and looking to join one of the UK's premier planning practices? If so, this Manchester team would like to hear from you.
This Planning team is widely regarded as one of the best in the UK, advising on some of the country's most iconic developments. Whether its offshore wind farms located out at sea, major residential schemes, new rail and road initiatives, airport developments, or waste and mineral projects, you will see this firm at the forefront of these ventures.
With a significant increase in work from major infrastructure providers, they are seeking an ambitious Associate to join their team. The role involves working on large-scale development consent orders, compulsory acquisitions, strategic planning, project management, and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs). Additionally, there is scope to engage in contentious work, including Judicial Review and Lands Chamber proceedings.
This position offers an unrivalled opportunity to work on a wide range of high-profile planning projects outside of the City, providing exposure to premium-level planning work.
The ideal candidate:
- Planning Associate/Senior 3+ years PQE training and experience in a quality practice
- Knowledge of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, experience of planning and highway agreements, ability to handle inquiries/examinations and judicial reviews relating to planning
- Strong appetite for professional growth and motivation to consistently deliver your best
