The Role:

As a Knowledge Development Lawyer, you will play a central role in shaping the future of the non-contentious Construction group. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring legal developments, best practices, and market trends to create engaging knowledge materials for both internal and external use.
• Establishing a Knowledge Hub on SharePoint, ensuring resources are easily accessible and relevant.
• Supporting fee earners by addressing technical legal queries and promoting knowledge sharing across the group.
• Updating and managing a comprehensive precedent bank, streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Organizing and delivering tailored training programs for lawyers and support staff, ensuring consistent standards of service across the firm.
• Collaborating with business development and marketing teams to create high-quality content, enhancing the firm's profile and reputation.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in non-contentious construction law.
• The firm will not only consider applicants with experience as a KDL/PSL in Construction (non-contentious), but also fee earners/solicitors who are looking to take their career in another direction (again must have experience in non-contentious construction).
• Excellent project management, legal drafting, and communication skills.
• A strategic and commercial mindset, with a proven ability to manage risk and drive efficiencies.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
