The Role

Based in the Colchester office, this role offers the chance to join a high-performing Property Litigation team. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will handle a diverse and challenging caseload, delivering exceptional service to a variety of commercial and residential clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Advising on a range of disputes, such as lease renewals, dilapidations, boundary issues, and tenant/landlord matters.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Conducting legal research and preparing comprehensive advice tailored to each client's needs.
• Actively engaging in business development to support the continued success of the team.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a commercial and pragmatic approach.

Requirements:

• You will be a Property Litigation Solicitor with at least 4 years PQE (more experienced candidates are encouraged to apply).
• Strong technical knowledge of property disputes, with the ability to manage your own caseload effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering client-first solutions.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with a desire to contribute to the team's success.
