Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the agency to be entrepreneurial and develop your practice in a firm where there is no limit to your progression.

  • You'll handle a diverse range of real estate matters, including commercial property acquisitions, sales, leasing, and development.
  • You'll advise clients on property finance, landlord and tenant matters, and planning regulations.
  • You will collaborate closely with developers, investors, and commercial entities, providing practical and strategic legal advice.
  • You'll conduct due diligence, draft legal documentation, and negotiate terms in complex real estate transactions.
  • You will manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and excellent client service.

You will lead the firm's commercial property team, contributing to firm-wide strategy and the long-term building up of the department.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • You are an experienced Scots-qualified real estate solicitor
  • You have a proven track record in handling commercial property transactions.
  • You have excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • You're able to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively.
  • You're client-focused and committed to delivering high-quality legal services.
  • You're proactive, solution-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • You are an entrepreneurial individual who demonstrates strong commercial awareness and business development skill
