A Tier 1 ranked law firm in residential property law is seeking a talented and experienced Residential Property Associate to join their central London office. This full-time role offers the chance to work with an internationally renowned practice handling high-value transactions for a global client base.
The Team
The Residential Property team is a close-knit group led by two partners, supported by another associate and paralegal assistance. The team handles a wide range of property transactions, providing exceptional service to both international clients, particularly from the Middle East, and domestic clientele.
The Role
The role involves managing complex residential property transactions, including:
- Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties.
- Property finance, with an emphasis on acting for borrowers as well as lenders.
- Advising international and high-net-worth clients on intricate property matters.
This role offers a balance of independent case management and collaboration with the broader team. Hybrid working arrangements are in place, with an expectation to spend 60% of the working month in the office.
The Ideal Candidate
The firm seeks a candidate with:
- 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in residential property law.
- Expertise in managing transactions involving freehold/leasehold properties and property finance.
- Experience from a highly regarded London law firm or heavyweight regional practice.
- Excellent technical ability, attention to detail, and client-focused communication skills.
