The role:

Are you a qualified solicitor with 3+ years of PQE, seeking an in-house Risk Associate role? This top firm in Bristol wants to hear from you!

As a Risk Associate, you will be integral to the firm's legal and regulatory framework, providing advice and guidance on a wide range of risk and compliance matters. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing conflicts of interest, AML/financial crime matters, data protection, SRA Accounts Rules, and handling claims and complaints.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced risk lawyer or someone with a background in regulatory compliance, professional negligence, or similar areas.

Candidates with experience working in risk and compliance teams within law firms, financial institutions, or regulatory bodies are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate:

  • A qualified lawyer with at least 3 years' PQE or equivalent foreign qualification
  • Expertise in handling conflicts of interest and financial crime matters
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet the demands of a dynamic environment
  • Proven experience managing key compliance processes and procedures
  • Confident and efficient, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
