The Department
The employment team works with clients from a range of sectors, including financial services, technology, family offices and family businesses, private households, and sports.
The Role
This top-tier, highly rated law firm in central London is seeking a 6+ PQE Employment Senior Associate. Candidates with more experience will also be considered.
As a result of continued growth, the team is looking for a bright, motivated, and enthusiastic associate to join their London office and be part of a friendly, busy, and highly successful team.
The work:
- They regularly represent senior executives, directors, founders, entrepreneurs, and investment professionals.
- The team has significant experience negotiating service agreements/employment contracts, incentive arrangements, and exit packages.
- They also regularly help individuals in these positions relocate to the UK.
- They represent senior executives in investigations and disputes, as well as matters involving the senior managers and certification regime.
- The team provides day-to-day advice to all types of employers, including those without their own specialist HR teams, on a wide spectrum of employment law issues.
- They also plan and manage workplace projects and investigations, resolve workplace disputes, and support businesses to protect confidential information and enforce post-termination restrictions.
- They also provide transactional support and regularly advise on the automatic transfer of employment rules (TUPE) in corporate and real estate transactions.
Experience and attributes required:
- 6+ PQE Employment Senior Associate Solicitor, qualified in England & Wales
- A good team player;
- Ability to manage multiple files while maintaining exceptional attention to detail;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both team members and clients;
- Excellent academics;
