The Role

Senior Associate | Insolvency Litigation | Award-winning Legal 500 firm | West End, London

This role would suit a Senior Insolvency Litigation Solicitor (5+ PQE) looking to join a first-rate department in a well-respected practice.

• Work comes from insolvency practitioners and banks. As is often the case, the team will be instructed on a recovery for a bank; it will require a receiver or insolvency practitioner (IP) to be appointed, and the firm will put names forward, and an IP will be instructed.
• The firm would then be instructed by the receiver or IP depending on whether it is an admin or receivership. They also work on a lot of fraud cases, some cross border.
• This is the normal work for an insolvency specialist, but in this team you'll find that it is very good quality work.

This firm likes to grow organically, so the right candidates will be on the fast track to partnership in this organisation.

Requirements:

• You will be a Senior Insolvency Litigation Solicitor (5+ PQE).
• You will enjoy working as part of a team, possessing excellent collaboration skills.
• You will have a strong billing history.
• Salary is above market rate; you will receive an excellent benefits package and a bonus (for example, the firm paid a mid level solicitor a £50,000 bonus last year for good performance).
