Are you a Senior Corporate Solicitor looking for the next step in your career? Perhaps you want to go international and work for a highly ranked New Zealand firm? This is an opportunity for an outstanding Solicitor to join a leading blended corporate and commercial practice.

Role
There is a chance to join a Corporate Advisory practice with one of the Legal 500 ranked firms in New Zealand.

The firm expects you to work directly with key public and private sector clients on a range of corporate and commercial matters while playing a mentorship role to juniors in the team. You'll be remunerated well and be in a position to grow and develop your career in a team that has been consistent with workflows and has excellent leadership.

The work is complex and challenging and requires someone to have a very keen eye for detail, a knack for problem-solving and sound drafting skills.

Ideal candidate

  • A Corporate Solicitor with 4+ PQE
  • Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients, and has the ambition and communication skills to further develop client relations
  • Is commercially aware and knowledgeable about the current banking law landscape
  • Has passion for the legal industry and willingness to learn in a new legal system format
