The Role

You will lead the legal activities with respect to the development and implementation of mergers, acquisitions, and minority VC investments, including the structuring, negotiation, anddocumentation of such transactions.

You will advise management and internal clients with respect to the company's legal rights andobligations, agreements, and common statutory or similar processes in connection with M&A and VC transactions.

You will also assist Law Management and other counsel in marshalling and examining the law and facts pertinent to legal problems; and liaise and work with outside counsel to negotiate and document transactions on a cost-effective basis.

Requirements

  • 6+PQE Common Law Qualified in a law firm with a strong M&A or VC practice, OR a combination of in-house and law firm experience
  • Demonstratable experience, with full-life cycle M&A, and leading transactions in a first or second chair capacity
  • Experience with international transactions and finance principles
