This leading Scottish firm is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Senior Solicitor (2-5 PQE) to join their award-winning Construction team based out of their Edinburgh office, offering industry-leading professional development and the opportunity to work on high-caliber projects.

The Role

In this highly-regarded Construction team, you will handle a broad range of construction matters, advising on high-profile and large-scale projects across Scotland and the UK. With the support of an award-winning team of experienced colleagues, you will have the chance to work on some of the most innovative construction projects in the country.

You will be involved in major infrastructure developments and redevelopments, as well as complex construction projects that will have a lasting impact on the UK. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting renewable energy projects, including those in wind, solar, green hydrogen, geothermal power, biomass and more.

The team's client roster includes numerous FTSE 100 companies, key public sector bodies, and a wide range of international clients. As the team continues to grow rapidly, you will have the chance to develop market-leading expertise and progress quickly through the ranks within one of Scotland's premier law firms.

The Ideal Candidate

  • An experienced construction lawyer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant PQE
  • Capable of managing a varied caseload and working with diverse clients
  • A strong communicator who excels in client and colleague engagement
  • Commercially aware with a solid understanding of the current legal landscape
