A rapidly growing Top 200 firm with a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked Real Estate team is looking for an experienced Associate (3+ PQE) to join their expanding Edinburgh office.

The Role

In this Legal 500-ranked Real Estate team you will be engaged in some of the highest-quality work in the country. As a senior member of the team, you will be an integral member of the growth of the department and the development of junior team members.

You will work with esteemed colleagues across the country as you undertake varied real estate work such as negotiating contracts, the sale/purchase/lease of commercial property, advising on development agreements and much more. This work spans sectors from retail and logistics to build-to-rent and specialised commercial developments.

You will handle your own workload, being entrusted to take ownership of clients as you advise them on all pertinent real estate matters.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a high calibre of work and you will be in a strong position to develop market-leading expertise in Real Estate as you develop towards the upper echelons of this high-calibre and friendly firm.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified Real Estate lawyer with 2+ years of PQE.
  • Strong client service skills, able to communicate clear, solution-focused advice to a diverse range of clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a focus on adding value.
